- 50+workshops in the past year
- 9bonding techniques taught
- 1×1or a small group
What is covered
Five subjects, one working day
- 01
Reading the hair
Telling when hair can carry an extension and when it cannot. The state of the scalp, the thickness of the fibre, residue from straightening or bleaching, and how long to wait after a previous treatment.
- 02
Matching shade
Reading the shade board against real hair, building a root transition, and mixing two shades when there is no exact match.
- 03
Bonding technique
Sectioning, where the bond sits, the distance from the scalp, and the practical difference between working with tape and working with a bead.
- 04
Filling
Closing thin areas and adding density without the bonds showing, including the awkward areas such as the front of the head.
- 05
Cutting into the natural hair
Cutting the extension into the haircut, so the transition reads as one head of hair and not as a layer laid on top.
